Description and Reviews:
Forget the lube...pass the popcorn, because Digital Playground’s Pirates is a
rip-roaring adventure that would almost make one forget they were watching an
adult production if it were not for the 10 sex scenes that punctuate the action.
Directed by Joone, the impressive line-up of female talent is accentuated by a
strong male cast and some nifty special effects that make Pirates one of the
most visually satisfying adult features ever.
The story begins out on the high seas, where newlyweds Isabella (Carmen Luvana)
and Manuel (Kris Slater) are celebrating their honeymoon by consummating their
marriage. After their romantic coupling, their ship is attacked by the infamous
pirate Victor Stagnetti (Tommy Gunn) who is after Manuel for reasons that we
will find out later in the movie. He kidnaps the groom and throws Isabella
overboard.
Not far away, Captain Edward Reynolds (Evan Stone) is sailing his own vessel
with the assistance of his first mate, Jules (Jesse Jane). To his shipmates,
Reynolds seems to be a brave and courageous captain, but behind closed doors he
relates his fears and concerns to Jules. They agree that the only way for him to
become the captain he wants to be is to hunt down pirates – but Reynolds is
uncertain how and where to begin. Fortune falls upon the captain when they find
Isabella floating in the water nearby, rescue her and bring her aboard. She
relates the kidnapping of Manuel to the crew, and Reynolds makes the decision
that he will help Isabella and hunt down Stagnetti.
The search for Stagnetti leads Reynolds to an island, where Stagnetti and his
own first mate, Serena (Janine), search for an Incan priest who can help them
unravel the secret that Manuel is holding. As it turns out, Manuel’s body serves
as a map to an ancient scepter – the possessor of which will have absolute
power.
By the time Stagnetti gets the information that he has been looking for...which
includes him killing a priest...Serena is starting to have second thoughts about
serving under him, and winds up in a confessional talking to Jules, whom she
believes is another priest. Later, Reynolds and Jules find themselves captured
and tied up by Jules’ lover (who feels jilted) and the only way to escape is if
Reynolds agrees to make love to one of the town prostitutes (Austyn Moore) who
has had her eye on him since his ship came into port.
The climax of the film has our heroes and villains in a showdown that takes
place in an ancient temple. The cool thing about this scene is that virtually
all of the surroundings are computer generated, but the results look more or
less realistic in the film. There’s some fun stuff here as Reynolds and his team
are forced to fight off a group of CGI-rendered skeletons, and then it’s back
out to the sea for a final battle between the ships captained by Reynolds and
Stagnetti.
The coolest extra in this 3-disc set is the HD-DVD disc, in which both the movie
and the Behind The Scenes featurette can be played in high-definition on your
computer. Disc Two in the set features a standard version (although still
anamorphic) of the Behind The Scenes (20 mintues), plus a bloopers reel (6 ½
minutes), a 50-picture Photo Gallery, a look at the special effects (2 mintues),
the trailer for Pirates (2 minutes), an audition video for some of the non-sex
roles (3 ½ minutes), bios for the female cast members, and a nice selection of
trailers (for both Digital Playground and Adam & Eve releases). There’s also a
short movie that was shot during the filming of Island Fever 3 featuring Evan
Stone that was apparently the inspiration for Pirates.
The main disc features the movie in 16x9 anamorphic widescreen, with the option
of listening to the film in either 5.1 or 2.0 Dolby. Also included is a
feature-length commentary track with director Joone and stars Jesse Jane,
Janine, Carmen Luvana and Tommy Gunn.
Pirates is one of those rare adult releases that actually lives up to the hype.
It shows how good an adult release can be with a little time, patience and
investment. So set your sails for adventure and get ready for a swashbuckling
good time with one of the best adult features ever!

Title: Conquest
DVD: $29.95
Rated: erotic movies for women
Description and Review:
Pirate Captain Jack ‘Calico’ Ransom
(Vince Vouyer) is searching for his lover’s killer to seek revenge when he ends
up taking on stowaway Rachel (Jenna Jameson), who is seeking the same man to
avenge the death of her father by his hand, and her friend (Shayla LaVeaux).
Meanwhile the Prince of England hires the blood thirsty William James (Brad
Armstrong) to remove Calico Jack and his pirates from the sea so his ships can
safely sail the high seas.
Pirates, sex, revenge, love, the high seas and
Jenna Jameson, what else could anyone ask for in a porn. Okay, I have to be
honest, I like pirate films, so I may have been into this film more than other
people might get, but they have done a great job with it. The plot in the film
is advanced for an adult film and does far more than just connect together the
plot scenes, making this a fun film for viewers who like porn with a plot to
watch. However, the plot is in no way on the level of that of a mainstream
film, so don’t watch this film with huge expectations of the story that won’t be
met.
Conquest is a fun plot-based adult film that is sure to please fans of tamer sex
and porn with a plot. The plot is more developed than most modern adult erotica
boasting great sets and costumes. Some viewers may be turned off by the slow
motion used in the sex scenes or the developed plot portions of the film. Due
to the tame sex, couples audiences may find this film to be perfectly
accessible. Viewers who hate a plot will probably find this film not to be of
their liking. For those who think the film sounds good to them, I heartily
recommend purchasing it as chances are you will find yourself re-watching this
title.

I don't consider myself a seasoned porn viewer
-- not yet at least. Far from it. Selective and choosy, yes, and reasonably well
informed as a consumer -- but am I any better equipped to review or comment on
this or any other film as a result of the quest? I don't really know. What I do
know is that I'm a whole lot more sure about the kind of films I like to watch,
and Marie and Jack: A Hardcore Love Story falls squarely into that category;
it's the kind of porn I like to watch. Simple as that really. And as complex as
that.
So, what is it about Marie and Jack: A Hardcore
Love Story that I like so much? Lots. I found myself nodding in agreement with
Eric Danville, Penthouse's video critic when he wrote in the January '05 issue
of Penthouse Magazine;
"…Through well-done, thoughtful interview
segments, they describe their meeting and initial attraction, and give insight
into their sex life. Their sex scene, which runs half an hour, is considerably
different from what Aria's fans have seen before. From slow, sensuous kissing to
genuine, real-life orgasms, she and Bravo open up in a way few in this business
have ever done. Then, when the show is over, you can watch the whole shebang
again exactly the way you want, choosing different angles, zooming in and
pulling back. This is an interesting concept made even more enjoyable by the
sincerity and charm of its principals."
The entire film -- has loads of sincerity and
charm. There's plenty to love about this little film -- but simply, I think I'm
most fond of the fact that it delivers a playful, affectionate tenderness
combined with a genuine eroticism that I find a real pleasure to view. It still
has a deliciously illicit feel, it's still sexy and downright erotic, but I feel
welcome and only just barely outside of the action and that turns me on. I like
that very much.
I also very much enjoyed the film's structure.
Don't be deceived by the apparent simplicity of the documentary style. It's an
elegant format that works at plenty of levels. In some ways it's so
straightforward that it's almost unnerving and had me asking (and I'm still
asking...) why isn't there more porn just like this? We get to know them, we
hear about the way they feel about each other, what turns them on and then we
see them make love. We like them, we're interested, we want them to have a good
time, we care. It works.

Bliss is a prime example of how close a porn
can be to mainstream…with a soap opera twist. Juli Ashton is our main character
who is not happy and satisfied with her marriage. She wants it to work, but
can’t help straying in her search for sexual satisfaction. Her best friend is
Tina Tyler who has some marital problems of her own. While Juli feels remorse
for her actions and loves her husband, Tina is icy cold to her husband for his
unfaithfulness. Both Juli and Tina play their parts perfectly. Tina seemed to
really enjoy this bitchy character… she played it so well. I don’t want to give
too much of the movie away, so I won’t go into too much detail with the scenes.
There is a lot of dialog in this movie and it’s done so well. However, the
camera angles are what really struck me. Antonio used some subtle, yet brilliant
shots (this may be a guy thing!). For instance, there’s a dialog scene in a
restaurant, but in the foreground of the shot is another table with a plate of
french fries. I know… people are thinking “so what? Big deal!!”, but it’s kind
of artsy. If the fries don’t do it for you, these cool camera angles are in the
sex scenes too. There’s a great camera angle of Nikita’s reflection off a glass
coffee table, or a scene with Gina Ryder with the camera panning across the room
showing her reflection off the TV screen, then to the mirror on the night stand
to a frontal shot of her riding Tony. As an added bonus, the multiple angles
(found in most of the scenes) are true multi-angles… and good ones at that.
Antonio Passolini did a fantastic job with this
film. Again, I like the dark soap opera feel it had. The actors pulled off the
dialog lines pretty well. Maybe a little bit of over acting with Tony and Steve,
but not bad at all. Juli, Tina, Chloe and Joel were superb with the dialog. This
is a great couples film too. This is a must have for DVD collectors and a must
see for fans of dialog in porn.

Title: Lovers Lane

Rated: porn with a plot
Time: Length:i2 hrs. 30 mins.
Description and Reviews:
There are a number of adult features made every year. Of those, only a handful
are given a “big budget” (by adult standards) and still only a select few of
those are really worth your time and money. While a lot of these titles get it
right in the “sex” department, I’ve only seen a couple that have really
delivered when it comes to telling a great story. Viewers can immediately spot
such films by noticing that they aren’t reaching for the fast forward button on
their remotes in between the sexual action. Well, I’m here to tell you that
Wicked Pictures’ Lovers Lane is so well-written that for the first time ever you
may find yourself reaching for the fast forward button during the sex...just to
get back to the story!
Written by Wicked Girl Stormy Daniels (who has a brief non-sex cameo) and Brad
Armstrong (who also directs), Lovers Lane takes us to a small town somewhere on
the West Coast where a yellow light still means slow down and not speed up.
Devinn Lane has the lead role here as a cop named Sarah, whose sister was
brutally murdered years ago and whose killer was never brought to justice. Now,
ten years later, the murders have started again. Is it a copycat? Or is it the
same serial killer from all those years ago? Stay tuned!
Paying a bit of homage to I Know What You Did Last Summer, the killer’s calling
card (and murder weapon) is a prosthetic hook, and the first half of Lovers Lane
details one killing to the next – as we see young couples making out in the
woods and then falling prey to the Gordon’s fisherman...err...dangerous serial
murderer!
With the victim list piling up and no end to the murders in sight, the FBI is
called in to investigate. Randy Spears plays the lead agent in a performance
that is sure to garner some attention during awards season next year. Spears is
simply brilliant as the hard-nosed fed who finds himself falling for Devinn’s
character. In a porn career filled with some great acting, this may be Randy’s
best role to date.
Being one of those reviewers (and movie-goers) who hates to have endings spoiled
for him, I wouldn’t dream of revealing who the killer is...but I’m happy to
report that unlike so many other porn flicks (which start with a great premise
and usually give up after the first act) Lovers Lane tells a compelling story
from beginning to end and when the pieces all come together at the conclusion,
viewers won’t feel cheated the way they do in so many of today’s mainstream
“slasher flicks”. In other words, the killer here has a reason for his crimes
that fits into the overall story.
Lovers Lane is one of the best releases of 2005. In fact, simply from a story
standpoint, it’s my favorite porno so far this year.

Title: Curse Eternal
DVD: $24.95
VOD: $9.99
(immediate delivery)
Pay per minute: offered (immediate delivery)
DivX download, rentals (immediate delivery)
Time:2 hrs.34 mins
Rated: porn with a plot
Descriptions and Reviews:
Usually porn fans would have to wait until the
Fall for a big title like Curse Eternal to come along, so it was a bit of a
treat to see something so well-made come out this early in the year. Marking
Kaylani Lei’s final big starring role before she left the studio as a Contract
Girl last year, Curse Eternal casts her as the ancient Egyptian queen Neferkala,
whose tomb has been undisturbed for thousands of years...that is, until a
professor played by Randy Spears unearths it at the beginning of this movie.
The story begins with Randy opening Kaylani’s tomb – only to have her come to
life in front of his eyes. Kaylani wants to both punish Randy for disturbing her
tomb and reward him for freeing her, so she proceeds to have sex with him and
then sucks the life energy out of him. Any similarities between this scene and
what women do to men in real life is, I’m sure, purely coincidental! Even though
Randy has been killed, his partner (who ran off when he saw Kaylani) is still
alive, and he dynamites the tomb – burying Kaylani once again.
The movie then jumps ahead in time to the present day, where we are introduced
to another professor, played by Jessica Drake, who is playing the grown daughter
of Randy’s character. She gets word that the tomb where her father perished has
been found, so after a “quickie” with boyfriend Eric Masterson, it’s off to
Egypt for Jessica.
Unlike her father, Jessica doesn’t open Kaylani’s tomb when she discovers it.
Instead she decides to have it shipped back to her lab in the United States, and
it’s only there that she removes the lid and starts studying the sarcophagus.
However, when Jessica leaves her lab for the night, Kaylani rises again and
gives security guard Chris Cannon the same pleasure...and punishment...she gave
to Randy Spears at the beginning of the film.
Kaylani makes her way out into the streets (only in Los Angeles, I suppose,
would a woman wearing Egyptian garb seem to blend right in), and makes her way
to a night club, where Jessica’s lab assistant spots her. He calls Jessica and
gets her to come to the club; and in the meantime, Kaylani has made her way to
the women’s rest room where Keri Sable has just finished giving Barrett Blade a
blowjob. Kaylani is impressed by the ankh tattoo that Keri has on her left arm,
and she proceeds to lick and finger Keri’s pussy...once again, sucking the life
out of her when she’s finished!
Jessica gets to the club and confronts Kaylani who identifies herself to
Jessica, and then proceeds to put her into some kind of trance where Jessica
experiences two mini-orgies – one in the club where she’s joined by Ice LaFox,
Lezley Zen, Gia Jordan, Kelly Kline, Brad Armstrong and Kris Knight; and one in
ancient Egypt where she pairs up with Ice LaFox, Eva Angelina, Brad Armstrong
and Joey Ray (and during which she gets anal in the reverse cowgirl position
from Brad).
The remainder of Curse Eternal has Jessica and Kaylani searching the city for
the reincarnated form of Nomron, Kaylani’s lover in her previous life who was
executed. Of course, it’s perhaps no surprise that Nomron has been reincarnated
in the body of Jessica’s current boyfriend – leading to a movie-ending threesome
between Jessica, Kaylani and Eric Masterson.
Curse Eternal was written and directed by Brad Armstrong, and it’s a well-shot,
well-performed adult feature that should especially appeal to the couples’
crowd. If there’s one minor flaw that the movie has, it’s that the story takes
itself a little too seriously – I think I would have enjoyed it more if it had
been a little more tongue-in-cheek, given the premise of the flick.
Disc One of this double DVD set contains the movie itself, which runs over 2 ½
hours in length and contains nine sex scenes in total (ten if you count that
Jessica’s two orgy segments are, in fact, two separate scenes). The movie is
presented in the widescreen anamorphic format with 5.1 Dolby sound and the
option to listen to either a dialogue-only track or a music-only track. 2.0
Spanish and German tracks are also available. Disc One also contains a
feature-length commentary track with Brad Armstrong and Jessica Drake.
Over on Disc Two are the majority of the bonus features, including an
entertaining 42-minute Making Of featurette. There are also three bonus scenes
taken from the Wicked titles Sold (Jessica’s threesome with Keri Sable and Brad
Armstrong), Erotik (Kaylani’s teaming with Manuel Ferarra), and Perfect Life (Kaylani
and Jessica with Chris Evans). Additional features include bloopers from the
movie; a look at the box cover shoot; an interview with Brad Armstrong; slide
shows; cast bios; and 10 trailers for other Wicked releases.
Curse Eternal is far and away the best DVD you’ll find on the recent list of new
adult titles, and a real treat for Kaylani Lei fans, since this may very well be
the last time we’ll see her in front of the cameras. It’s the first “great”
porno of 2006.

I just saw a love story. One with
all the makings of a fine, sweet tale -- you know how it goes -- the handsome
young man who spies the pretty woman at a party and smiles, but doesn't think he
stands a chance with her. The pretty woman who swoons a little when she sees him
walk by, the friend who acts as the conduit for secret messages about the
woman's desire to know him and kiss him.
It turns out, in this romantic real life story,
that Xana and Dax are perfectly suited to each other, they fall deeply in love,
they learn what turns each other on and they have hot sex. In teaming up with
filmmaker, Tony Comstock, they get to tell us their love story and show us their
lovemaking. It's a beautiful and delightfully sexy tale, just like a good love
story should be, and exactly the kind of story I love.
I'm completely smitten with the look of this
film. From the slightly theatrical but simple set, to the beautiful and dramatic
lighting, the production speaks of care, attention to detail and an artistic
eye. The camera work and editing is exciting, smooth, and lively at the same
time. There's almost a sense of luxury about it -- it's got a rich saturated
style with lots of lush imagery that has the eye dancing lightly, filling up on
the gorgeous sight of the beautiful naked bodies moving before us. The filmmaker
seems to indulge the viewer, wanting us to see everything he sees and much more
-- it's a generous kind of filmmaking that presents sex in an elegantly explicit
but almost defiantly straightforward way.
Some of the very hottest moments from this very
hot film that I love in particular include: Xana and Dax's wonderful kissing,
the way they look kneeling up massaging oil into each other, his finger slipping
into her as he licks her pussy, the way he holds her hips tightly after she
comes, the full- on lip lock kissing toward the end as she rides him with gusto,
the brief sequence when Xana hops aboard reverse cowgirl, Dax
stretched out on the white sheets, his face a picture of bliss. I also liked the
brief but sexy glimpses of Xana's beautiful feet when she climbs astride Dax
cowgirl style and earlier as he massages oil onto her legs and gets her giggling
while gently kissing and tickling one of her feet.
Xana and Dax look incredible together and make
love in a tender, playful, deeply sensuous and erotic way. Their lovemaking
includes lots of deep kissing, stroking and caressing all of which has a relaxed
leisurely pace that makes the more urgent thrusting moments even more erotic and
hot by contrast.

Wow. This is a real good movie on several
levels, but the main one for me is the sex. I've heard this described as a good
couples movie, and that's true enough, but don't take that to mean that the sex
isn't hot. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to NOT see every scene end
with a pud-pulling facial. Not only THAT, but there's one scene where Mike
Horner actually doesn't pull out at all, and this absolutely astounded me. Did I
feel 'cheated'? Please....
The movie is a story about Justine (Roxanne), a hot non-porn looking girl who
loves to fuck and ends up inadvertently carrying on affairs with a father and
son, though no one realizes this. This is kinda kinky, I like it. Mike Horner
plays the father Simon, and never looked better. I might have to start checking
out more of his older stuff. He can also act fairly well, and I love his
enthusiasm and facial expressions. He gets a look in his eyes and you know he's
turned on. Nick East plays the son, who has one scorching sex scene with Justine
in the beginning, before he conveniently leaves on a trip. This scene cuts back
and forth between them and Mike and Tianna, who are also having some fun,
although 'Simon' is a little overwhelmed by Tianna's aggressiveness, and is
having some 'erectile dysfunction'. I don't think YOU will be however, when
Tianna comes out and masturbates slowly and sensually, with lots of good dirty
talking.
Do yourself a favor, buy or rent this movie, and find. Better yet, just buy it
because you never know - when your girlfriend says she'll watch a porno with
you, you'll have the perfect one.
